Manufacturer Rocktron USA

Rocktron was founded in 1983 by musicians Bob Waller and Jim Chowning in the northern suburbs of Detroit. The company initially focused on compressors, preamps, enhancers, effects and controllers with built-in noise reduction. Rocktron was sold to GHS Corporation in 2000 and relocated to Battle Creek, Michigan. The Rocktron division is still managed by Waller.

Pedal Rocktron Reaction Tuner

Made by
The Reaction Tuner from Rocktron is close to the upper price range of pedal tuners, but it’s hard to know what makes this pedal worth the pricetag. Detection accuracy and other key specs are left unspecified by the manufacturer.
Pedal Rocktron Unity

Made by
Rocktron’s Unity tuner looks like an artifact from the Soviet Union, with an overbuilt enclosure and polished metal finish, but the manufacturer’s failure to provide basic specs (like detection accuracy and detection range) sets off warning flares.
Rocktron VersaTune

Made by
Heralded by some as a suitable replacement for Korg’s now-discontinued DTR-1000, Rocktron’s similar looking VersaTune leaves a lot to be desired.
